Gwendolyn Turns 2! / Clermont Family Photography

Watching this little girl grow up has been so much fun! I have known her mom, Sarah, since elementary school and to have the chance to document her little girl’s life has been such a pleasure. Gwendolyn is very serious about having her picture taken! She is also very serious about her Cat in the Hat =)

It was also time to do a couple updated family pictures as well (thanks for being patient Viet)–this is one lucky little girl:

Disney’s 1/2 Marathon, then Family Pictures at The Boardwalk! / Disney Family Photography

This post has been A LONG TIME coming. I have been so busy building wedding albums that editing shoots have taken SO much longer than ever before! Slowly, but surely I will get the blog updated in the next week or so . . .

It’s been a few weeks, but The Greenwell family (along with the crazy New York Crew) and I met up and spent a brisk Disney Marathon morning together goofing off around The Boardwalk. The entire family came down to visit and run in the 1/2 Marathon (the day before). I don’t know about you, but if I had just run 13.1 miles the day before, there is NO WAY I would spend the next day having my picture taken (unless we are talking x-ray pictures). These guys acted like it was no big deal. Even a pregnant Carolyn did the 1/2! Sheesh! Clearly, I need to get my act together!

Here are a few of my favorites from our morning together:

Let’s be real–if this was my medal, there is NO WAY anyone else would have their fingers anywhere near it . . . I would live, breathe, and sleepĀ  in this sucker! Thank goodness these guys don’t mind sharing with the others that forgot to bring their medal for pictures =)

Welcome to the World Kylie / Tampa Newborn Photography

I love my job. I get to travel, meet wonderful new families, and snuggle with newborn babies! Kelsey and Patrick gave birth to a healthy little girl just before Christmas and the day after I was lucky enough to travel to Tampa to meet them and their beautiful little girl, Kylie. She was the perfect little model. Calm, sleepy, snuggly–everything a photographer dreams about when photographing a baby. Mom and dad were on cloud 9. Dad just beamed with pride and happiness each time he walked into the room and saw Kylie. And other than being sleepy, you would have never known Kelsey had just given birth! She was such a pro that I almost forgot that Kylie was her first baby =)

It was such a pleasure spending the morning with this new family! I hope you love these pictures as much as I do:

Kylie has the brightest, most beautiful eyes!

Ben Torres ROCKS! / Orlando Band Photography

Christmas break has been pretty busy this year! Family came down to visit from Chicago and in addition to snuggling with my two little guys at home, I got to meet and photograph some pretty sweet newborns as well. Another great day was spent hanging out with the very talented Ben Torres–a local singer/songwriter/guitarist who is about to release his first album. I was honored when they asked if I would be the one to shoot his cover art! I will save the final product for later when the album is ready for release–in the meantime, here are several of my favorites from our shoot last weekend. A big shout out goes to Ben’s mom, sister, and my girl Kate for being there to assist with wardrobe, hair, and lighting. You guys all ROCK!

Welcome to the World Baby Julian / Orlando Newborn Photography

Life has a funny way of happening sometimes. Sometimes plans don’t quite work out the way you expect and something wonderful ends up being the result. This is how I met baby Julian =)

This sweet little guy was just shy of two weeks old when we met and was such a doll to photograph. I think I might have spent as much time snuggling with him as I did photographing him! Mom, Mireille has been patiently waiting for me to get his blog posted, so without further adieu, welcome to the world Baby Julian–may you always be as sweet as you are in these pictures =)
